If you can’t access your favourite website today, don’t blame BT (again), blame SOPA and PIPA. The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect Intellectual Property Act are currently under consideration by the US Congress and they are controversial to say the very least.  In protest, a number of high profile websites are staging a 24 hour ‘blackout’, including WordPress, hence the striking home page of this blog’s host today, imagining a world where content providers are in charge of censorship and ultimately, freedom of speech.
